Salon Worthy Hair at a Drugstore/Product Review

Hey Lovelies!  Long time no see!

Let’s say you’re going out to have a fun night with friends, and you want to look like you stepped out of a fancy salon-the only problem is you’re broke. Well, as always we have a solution! Here is a list of drug store hair care products that are Salon-Worthy!

Shampoo & Conditioner:  Pantene Pro-V Fine Hair Solutions: Volume

Price for each: $ 6.49 I have been using this shampoo and conditioner for six months now, and it has been flawless! They add extra volume and shine to my thin hair without weighing it down, smells AMAZING, and helps repair my damaged hair. I love these products!

Clarifying Shampoo: Neutrogena Shampoo Anti-residue

Price: $5.99

If you use several products on your hair on a weekly basis, I would suggest using a clarifying shampoo once a week. My top favorite has always been the Neutrogena, because it gets rid of all the buildup in your scalp and hair! I recommend this product.

Hair spray: Treseme Hair spray Extra Hold

Price: Priced per store

For a long period of time, I was told to try this product and never got around to it until my friend was styling my hair one day. I haven’t stopped using it since then!  It keeps my style lasting all day, and is light weight on my head. I have found this product helpful and would recommend it to my lovelies!

Mousse: Joico Joiwhip Firm-Hold Design Foam Mousse

Price: $11.89

No matter curly or straight, this will hold your style! It lasts all day in my hair without feeling sticky or crunchy and looks amazing! Try to use a minimum of any mousse, because a little goes a long way! Now this might be a little pricey for a drug store product, but it is so worth it!

Quick tip: Valentine's Day Fashion!

Hey lovelies, it’s Sam here with another Quick Tip! We are going to have four different categories for our Valentine’s looks today! Those categories are: formal, spunky, sweet and casual.  These different styles will fit for all sorts of different occasions, so let’s get started!

Look number one: Formal chic

This stunning look is perfect for a fancy Valentine’s dinner, and easy to recreate! All of these items can be found at H&M, Khols and Forever 21. For the hair, toss in some loose curls with a curling wand or iron and apply hair spray.

 
Look number two: Spunky

Whether you’re going to the mall, or hanging out with friends, this outfit will give you a bold new look! These items can also be found at forever 21 and Pacson. To get this wavy hairstyle, dampen your hair before bed and braid four sections of your whole head. Leave them in overnight and take them out after you wake up (for extra volume, brush out the waves and follow up with blow drying).

Look number three: Sweet

This look is perfect for a lunch date and will add some class to your look! You can find all these items at Target and Rue 21. For this hairstyle, flatiron your hair, and clip two sections from the front of your face to the back of your hair!

 

 

Look number four: Casual

This look gives a pop to your everyday look and makes a statement with its color and print! All of these items can be found at Target or H&M. For make-up, try your regular routine, with a red lip pencil, and a natural Smokey eye!
